“Artists were hired to paint large posters of films (usually on used canvas flour sacks). The artists were given the artistic freedom to paint the posters as they desired - often adding elements that weren’t in the actual films, or without even having seen the movies.”

Poolga + Bright Magazine - Pack #1

We’re doing a collaboration with Bright Magazine from the Netherlands in which every month one Poolga artist creates a series of wallpapers for both iPhone and Android devices.

We just launched the first one, featuring Laszlito Kovacs. He created a series inspired in gadgets from the (retro)future that allow jetpack flying, teletransportation and, of course, invisibility. They are gorgeous, we just hope they worked for real!. Go get them here:
